The Latest Writing News From Archer’s Aim

Hello everyone! I’ve got just a few bits of writing news today so let’s jump right in…

the-bow-of-destiny-by-p-h-solomon1First, one quick note to anyone reading this: The Bow of Destiny’s price will increase on 3/1. The book has been at a super-low price for a little over six months during which it’s reached right at 5,000 copies sold. Thanks to all the new readers. At this point, it’s time for this extended sale to end. However, the book will still be offered at discounted price of $2.99 compared to it’s original price of $4.99. Please share this post so that others will be able to get the book at 99 cents before the price increases. I do have reasons for the price increase at this point, however, I’m not able to share them just yet – but I will when the time comes!

I’ve been busy working on An Arrow Against the Wind the last month and making a lot of progress. I’m eying mid to late-April for release of the book depending on editing schedule, etc. The book is beginning to take very good shape with a lot of revision and re-writing. I’m beginning to like where it is going and beginning to gear up for the next release which I’ll share more about as the weeks go by.

Book Cover Arrow Against The Wind Revised (2)I’m still examining going to print later this year. I’ve been more focused on An Arrow Against the Wind, however, print remains a goals for this year. I am looking into a few opportunities that may allow me to move to print the best way possible.

As soon as I have finished with this round of editing, I’ll continue working on the 3rd book of The Bow of Hart Saga, The White Arrow. I’m really excited to think that I may finish that book entirely within a few months since the rough draft will be far cleaner than that of An Arrow Against the Wind since The White Arrow is not a book that’s languished on the shelf for year but is completely new!

You’ll also note that I’ve added a new bit of artwork to The Bow of Destiny page and the carousel of images that appear in the site header. I’m also trying out a new header image on Twitter before I begin using it on other social media profiles. I hope to expand this more once An Arrow Against the Wind and The White Arrow are published.

That’s all for now! I’ll have a new series of posts with commentary about the opening of The Bow of Destiny starting on 3/1. I’m also going to have a new post on Story Empire in just a few weeks. Likewise, I’m working on a Scrivener post here for those interested (I hope those who follow for Scrivener posts have found some of the video shares helpful lately). Please leave your thoughts and comments below and thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Congrats on all the progress you’re making. I’m looking forward to An Arrow Against the Wind. And a new book release is always fun and a cause for celebration. It won’t be long now…

    1. I’d dig into it as you ready a new project. I’m looking for a fiction proposal template just now – no luck so though. I may have to spend some time making my own!

      1. Hey, can you email or DM me on FB about that? I’d like to pick your brain about some of the details for those…

      2. Sure…I’m getting ready to sign off but am happy to share later. I might not be back on until tomorrow. I’ll DM you with my email.
