Story Empire Roadshow Featuring C. S. Boyack

Thanks for visiting today! Join me in welcoming C. S. Boyack, one of my fellow contributing authors from Story Empire. Also, welcome to a lot of new visitors today from various other blogs and groups including those from Story Empire and Craig’s followers. Take it away Craig!

I’m excited that my bookmobile is pulling into P. H. Solomon’s blog as part of the Story Empire Roadshow. It’s been a while since I appeared here, and in honor of this being a fantasy site, I’m putting my lone fantasy novel on sale today.

About The Book

The Cock of the South is a Greco-Roman fantasy with a mash up of traditional characters like Dwarves and Elves, alongside Centaurs and Amazons.

You’ll follow along with Cobby, one of the Southern Dwarves, as he discovers many downtrodden races. They’re all being persecuted by the empire of Remus, and he wants to unite them into one people for their own salvation.

The road is long, bloody, and filled with racial conflicts. I refer to it as part Exodus, part Spartacus, and pure fantasy.

Blurb

The Southern Dwarves are a conquered race. Scattered and hidden they must flee the legions of Remus before they all become slaves.

An unlikely dwarf, known as Cobby, leads them to a place where they can live in peace. He discovers other downtrodden races along the way and recruits them to his mission. These include centaurs, Amazons, satyrs, and more. There aren’t enough of anyone to make a difference, but together they might stand a chance.

There are quite a few dwarf stories around, and I wanted to do something different with them. The setting is Greco Roman, and the times are brutal. This book contains violence, you have been warned.

It was fun trying to keep what readers expect from dwarves, and still add something different. Part Spartacus, part Exodus, I hope you will give The Cock of the South a chance.

You can download The Cock of the South for the whopping big price of 99¢ today and tomorrow only. I hope you’ll take a chance on TCOS, and would appreciate any sharing PH’s readers could do today.

Story Empire is a cooperative effort of six outstanding authors, including today’s host. We’re all on tour this week, and PH is over at my blog, Entertaining Stories. Make sure to come over and see what great deals he’s offering along the tour.

To keep people following the tour, I’m giving away two huge coffee mugs featuring Lisa Burton, my personal assistant and spokesmodel. These go to the most prolific commenters during the week at my stops.

  1. I’ve got to catch up with Cobby. I’ve got Cock of the South already downloaded on my Kindle and it’s on my TBR. As always, you’ve come up with a unique take on your fiction. At .99c hoping you get tons of downloads!

  2. This is one that skipped my attention. Added to the list. Have a successful tour, Craig!

  3. Read and loved The Cock of the South. Your alternative reality sparked my interest, and your characters fascinated me. It was a great book, Craig.

  4. I confess not being in love with Greco Roman fantasy. I had enough of my share of Greco Roman culture and story at school (still remember that test when I had to study all the roman emperors and the dates of their reigns). But I’m curious about this mash up and I’d like to see how classic characters interact with Greco Roman creatures.
I’m loving this tour so much!

  5. I loved your experimental notebooks, Craig, and The Cock of the South sounds great … especially at this price! Best of luck with everything 😊… I agree with tpolen.. my TBR is looking dangerous, lols!
