I’ve been a bit quiet with new posts lately and with good reason. As noted last month, the release of The White Arrow is approaching so I’ve been busy with the details in addition to some other fiction projects that are pending. I’m happy to say that The White Arrow has come along rather well and quickly. The editor found little out of order or missing from the book so we’ve worked rather quickly through the various stages of editing.
So now for the announcement and additional information about The White Arrow. Release day has been set at October 23rd to give me the most allowed time to complete the book. However, since I’m ahead of schedule, I’m actually setting the official date at 10/3 – 20 days sooner! The book is currently in pre-order for $2.99 which is the release day sale price and can be found at Amazon, Apple iBooks, Kobo, Barnes and Noble and Smashwords – use this universal link to find out more, otherwise, use the logos at the end. Also, The Bow of Destiny is on sale at 99 cents until 10/3 too – it’s a great time to start the series if you haven’t already.
While I’ve been showing the cover around for some time now, the blurb has been in a bit of transition too. I’ve had the newest version posted for a few days but I officially share it here today:
Bound to prophecy, his destiny balanced on an arrow’s tip.
Athson has found the Bow of Hart and is being pursued by his enemies as well as haunted by both his past and his failures. But according to Hastra the Withling, the prophecy of the bow indicates Eloch will send an arrow for its use. Magdronu watches for the appearance of the arrow and sets his plans in motion to regain control of his magic. With his sights set on Auguron, the dragon sends his forces on the attack while waiting for his chance to steal both prophesied elements that stand in the way of his ultimate goal. But when the arrow arrives, it is from a most unexpected source and lands in unforeseen hands, so that events twist like an arrow in flight. Can Athson overcome his past and his failures to use the Bow of Hart as intended against Magdronu? The archer and the bow await the coming arrow…
So, with all that said, The White Arrow will launch 2 weeks from today (unless something unforeseen occurs) and I’m very excited to complete the series. I think readers of The Bow of Hart Saga will be pleased with the book and find the end both entertaining and surprising. The White Arrow goes on blog tour for the next month over on Silver Dagger Scriptorium starting tomorrow. Look for more news on the book page, my News page or on my Welcome page. Thanks to all the readers for joining me on the journey with the Bow of Hart. I hope to share a new series soon but let’s enjoy this book book for a while. Join me on release day, October 3rd, and I’ll have more to share about the book and possibly a few more announcements regarding the series. Thanks again to all the helpful readers and please share the series with your fantasy-reading friends!
