Affiliate Links

Please note that some posts include affiliate links. Read below to understand what this means:

WHAT IS AFFILIATE MARKETING?

Affiliate marketing is a marketing arrangement, between a business and an individual(s), by which the business pays a commission to the owner of an external website for traffic or sales generated from their referrals, which include affiliate links. Affiliate refers to a person participating in this form of marketing, who share such links.

WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE LINK?

An affiliate link is a custom URL that contains the affiliate’s ID or username. In affiliate programs, advertisers use affiliate links to record the traffic that is sent to the advertiser’s website. This action is all part of an affiliate program. If a purchase has been made through the affiliate link, then the affiliate stands to earn a commission for it.
