Drip. Drip. The drops fell with the ticking of seconds, and she watched the ripples pass like the wasted years of her life.
So long I have waited for this moment, fighting against the incessant problems that stem from imprisonment and the obstacles built into perpetual confinement.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
The countless ages have caused them all to turn their backs, but I have not been idle. The slow passage of time has allowed for the discovery of clever ways to create a system that works to defeat the one that restricts me. With that time, I have labored here, working to erode the troublesome barriers and incrementally delving to gain a measure of control over my captivity.
