Phoenix Fallout Series or The Legend of the Phoenix on Kickstarter

So my story is begins on Earth roughly 400-500 years into the future. The world has been ravaged by nuclear winter due to a devastating world war. Legends state that when the planet is in need of healing, the Phoenix will rise and restore the world to the state it was in before the devastation. The protagonists will travel across the world and to another world to find the Phoenix, may it be a person, a power, a device, or an entity, and restore their home to how it was before the nuclear winter, only the world, not any kind of bringing the souls back from the dead. The story will involve magic, love, loss, and adventure.

I have the story planned out for 5 books. Book 1 will introduce most of the main characters and some of the lore involved in the story. The 2nd book will involve a war between mortals and demons. The 3rd book will involve the ruler of the underworld trying to solidify their place in the world of the living by trying to create an offspring (this is the one book that I’m having the most trouble with making it work, definitely willing to change) Book 4 will involve a group of enemies that each has a mastery of a different form of magic and has been separated from the rest of the world for ages. Book 5 will involve finding the Phoenix and using it to restore the world.
